Marinas, boat clubs and charters
Marina dockage agreements, signed before the season opens.
Dockage renews in spring, the rental fleet turns over four times a day in July, and twenty new members join before Memorial Day. Three documents, one office.
Where it goes wrong
Not a feature list. These are the three moments this exists for.

Spring renewals, all at once
Two hundred slips, every agreement expiring inside the same six weeks, and an office that is also trying to launch boats. Printed, mailed, chased, scanned, filed — and a third of them still not back by opening day.
The rental that turns over four times a day
Same contract, new renter, every two hours, at a fuel dock, in the sun, with a queue. The paperwork is the slowest part of the transaction and it is the part that matters if the boat comes back on a trailer.
Insurance certificates and a named storm
You need to know, quickly, whose cover is current and who has read the storm plan. In August that is not an administrative question.
What happens instead

Spring's agreements, sent as one list
One spreadsheet of slip holders, and each gets a link with their rate and slip number already in it. Whoever has not signed gets a reminder, and the office reads a list rather than a pile.

The rental signed before they reach the dock
Texted when the booking is made, signed in the car park, and the operator names are on the contract before anybody touches a helm. For the walk-up, a QR at the fuel dock and a tablet at the desk.

One list, three kinds of document
Slip holders, renters and guests sign different agreements, and the office finds any of them by name and sees who has not signed which, without holding three systems in their head.
Two documents, in your account the moment you name your trade
Setup asks what you do. Answer "marinas, boat clubs and charters" and these are waiting as drafts, in your words, with the blanks marked and the points a lawyer settles flagged for one. Edit them, or paste what you already use.
Also in the library, one click from your dashboard: Scooter and E-Bike Rental Agreement.
Documents this trade sends
Written from the document's side rather than the trade's, for when you know the form you are short of.

We do not track certificates of insurance
A COI is a document from somebody else's insurer with an expiry date and a renewal cycle, and doing that properly is a product in itself. The slip agreement records that the holder agreed to carry cover and to produce it; collecting and diarising the certificate is still yours. We would rather say that than half-build it.

Questions
Can the slip agreement carry the vessel details?
Yes. Name, length, registration, draft and insurer are blanks in the document, filled from what you already hold, so the signed agreement is about that vessel rather than a generic form with a boat written in later.
How does this handle a bareboat charter?
As a rental with named operators. The agreement lists who may take the helm, what certificates they hold and the operating area, and each named operator can be made to sign rather than being written down by somebody else.
What about a club where members sign once and use any boat?
One membership agreement with the term it covers, plus a short acknowledgment per reservation if you want one. The reservation carries the vessel; the membership carries the terms.
Does a signed dockage agreement help with an abandoned boat?
It is the starting point and not the answer. Lien and abandoned-vessel procedure is set by statute and differs everywhere, and the starter document marks that for an attorney rather than promising something it cannot do.
