Each question is checked where it is answered — a date that is on the calendar, a birthday that is not in the future, an address long enough to be one — in the same words on the signing page, on the counter tablet and in the API, and the signature waits until every required one is done.

  • Conditions. Show a question only when an earlier answer calls for it; a hidden question is never asked and never owed.
  • Flags. Put an answer in front of your staff when it needs a person, such as a safety box left unticked.

Tournament and Outing Participant Waiver

  1. Taking part. I am playing in the event named, under its format and rules, and I will follow the instructions of the starter, the marshals and the professional staff.
  2. The risks of a golf course. I understand that a golf course is a place where hard balls travel fast and not always where they are aimed, where clubs are swung near other people, where carts are driven, where lightning is a real danger in open ground, and where ground is uneven. I accept those risks for myself, including being struck by a ball or a club.
  3. My own play. I will shout a warning when my ball may reach anybody, wait until the group ahead is clear, and not play into them.
  4. Weather. I will leave the course and take shelter when play is suspended, and I understand that staying out is my decision and my risk.
  5. Contests. If the event includes a hole-in-one, long-drive or other prize contest, the prize, its conditions and who insures it are as set out here: contest terms. Any tax on a prize is the winner's.
  6. Food, drink and alcohol. If alcohol is served I will drink responsibly, and I understand that staff may refuse service and that driving after drinking is my own responsibility and offence.
  7. Photographs. business name and the event organiser may photograph play for the event's own record and publication, unless I write otherwise here: photo preference.
  8. Release. To the extent the law where business name operates allows, I release business name, the event organiser and their staff from claims for injury, loss or damage arising from my ordinary participation, other than claims arising from their negligence or misconduct that the law does not let a release cover.
