WooCommerce Bookings: an agreement for every booking
A booking you confirm starts its agreement straight away, paid or not, with the date, time, party size and resource filled in.
Before you start
- The plugin installed and this site connected (the getting-started guide).
- WooCommerce and WooCommerce Bookings, active.
- A form in SignSealer, under Forms & QR, made from the template the customer should sign. The plugin calls it a workflow.
Step by step
The words in bold are the words on the screen.
Mark the bookable product
A bookable product is a product: edit it, and on the General tab choose its SignSealer agreement.
Put the booking in the template
In the template in SignSealer, add blanks named
booking_date,booking_time,personsandresource. The booking fills them;booking_startandbooking_endgive the full date and time.Confirm a booking
When you confirm a booking, its agreement is started for the customer at once, paid or not — it is wanted before the day, not after the card.
See where it stands
The booking's own screen has a SignSealer box showing its order's agreements, and the order shows them as in the WooCommerce guide.
What happens next
- The customer is emailed the agreement with the booking's details already on it.
- Everything in the WooCommerce guide applies: the thank-you page, the order email, My Account and the order notes.
If something is not right
A booking with several products?
Each product that needs an agreement gets its own agreement, filled in from its own booking.
